To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the San Jose Earthquakes first NASL appearance, I was tasked with creating a mural collage that would be displayed at the Paypal Stadium celebrating the teams early history. The mural features an array of vintage photographs of club legends, team staff+managers, the man himself Crazy George, as well as miscellaneous souvenirs like game tickets, and old newspapers clippings that highlight the teams early achievements.
Challenge
I was provided with a large set of vintage photos, many of which where not in the best condition to be printed out at a large scale. I had to restore each individual photograph on photoshop, making sure to remove any unwanted scratches and adjusting the colors and textures so that each photo was ready to be printed without loosing any details.
