Dia de los Muertos Celebration at Hilton San Jose
In the Fall of 2024, the Hilton in downtown San Jose hosted their second annual Dia de los Muertos celebration. To commemorate the event, I was selected to create a poster design that pays homage to the festive holiday.
This piece is heavily inspired by Mexican woodcut prints, and the tradition of using an altar to honor the dead. To keep with the festive vibes, I chose to depict the dead coming back to life to celebrate through dance and music.
